The National Alliance for Civil Development Work (NACDW) on Sunday commissioned a convoy of 106 trucks loaded with huge quantities of humanitarian and relief aid, in line with directives by President
Abdel Fattah El Sisi for providing immediate support to Palestine.
The aid consignments comprised 1,000 tonnes of food and meat, 40,000 blankets, more than 300,000 boxes of medicines and medical supplies, in addition to necessary clothing and other needs, accompanied by a medical team of all specialisations.
The commissioning of the aid convoy corresponds with the launch of a large blood donation campaign across
Egypt, organised by the NACDW in co-operation with the Ministry of Health and the Blood Bank, under the
motto “A drop of blood equals a life”.
The Decent Life Foundation has indicated that it is taking part in the humanitarian drive in expression of its full solidarity with the Palestinian people.
