North Sinai Governor Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shosha Thursday laid a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier in the Martyrs Square in el Arish city.
The move is part of the governorate’s celebrations of its National Day.
The governor said that the celebrations coincide with the 42nd anniversary of the Sinai Liberation Day.
Meanwhile, Shosha inaugurated the Hands of Egypt Exhibition for Carpets and Handicrafts, launched by the Ministry of Local Development to support the production and marketing of craft and sundry heritage products.
He said the exhibition is considered a national project targeting all groups of women, youth and the Egyptian family in general.
