A multinational joint air exercise involving several Arab countries, including Egypt, kicked off at Prince Sultan Air Base in central Saudi Arabia.
Egypt’s air force and navy are taking part in the military drill alongside troops from the UAE, Jordan, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
The two-week exercise, dubbed, “Tuwaiq 2,” aims to exchange expertise, promote military cooperation, and boost joint Arab action in the face of ongoing challenges in the Middle East.
