CAIRO- Mufti of the Republic Nazir Ayyad said Tuesday human rights in Islam are not hollow slogans, but rather duties that must be respected.
The Mufti said in a statement on Human Rights Day, celebrated every tear on 10 December, the message from heaven was manifested in an eternal divine declaration that made human dignity the cornerstone of building human life.
He sent a sincere call to humanity to overcome its selfishness and truly act for the greater good by rallying efforts to promote the values of human rights, justice and mercy.
