Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek el-Molla has asserted the significance of the digitisation of services through introducing an integrated digital system for the management and handling of oil products.
This would contribute to providing precise and crucial information for decision makers, Molla said in a plenary meeting on Tuesday to follow up on progress achieved by the digital platform at the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation.
The modern techniques adopted over the past years are meant to tighten control of the distribution, supply and handling of petroleum products, as well as determine the volume of fuel reserves nationwide, Molla said.
He attributed the stability in the Egyptian oil market over the past period to the digitisation of the management system of petroleum products.
