CAIRO – The Ministry of Health and Population launched a training program for doctors and healthcare providers in Cairo and Giza to ensure a more efficient and stable work environment and bring satisfaction to citizens. It is presented by the British university of the administrative and technical organization of the University of Lucerne (ATOL).
Deputy Minister of Health for Population and Family Development Abla el Alfi, said the program includes 42 physicians, dentists and pharmacists representing 20 healthcare units and centers in both governorates.
She added the program focuses on getting feedback from patients, supporting health teams and citizens within health units and family medicine centers, as well as strengthening effective communication methods as an essential factor in the system for improving the quality of health care.
The program will start with training medical staff at primary care centers, followed by hospital to create a conducive work environment, Alfi said.
