The meeting came in light of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to co-operate with the Ministry of Awqaf in areas of electricity and water conservation, Minister Salah Eddin said.
The meeting addressed the Ministry of Awqaf’s demands regarding electricity consumption in mosques and ministry facilities by providing energy-efficient lamps and reviewing electrical panels, which would significantly contribute to energy savings.
He also pointed to the installation of smart water-saving devices produced by the Helwan Diesel Engines Company, affiliated to his ministry, in several mosques nationwide.
“Our co-operation with the Ministry of Awqaf is part of the policy adopted by the Ministry of Military Production aiming to contribute to the implementation of national development projects, in co-operation with various state entities,” Salah Eddin said,
He stressed that the military production companies and units are keen on implementing the projects assigned to them with the highest standards and adherence to the set timelines.
For his part, Minister Al-Azhari lauded the fruitful and ongoing co-operation between the two ministries in several areas, benefiting from the resources available through its companies and affiliated units.
“This contributes to the activation of the Ministry of Endowments’ plan to develop its performance, preserve its assets, and maximise their benefits, while adopting charitable, social, and economic projects that ultimately benefit the Egyptian citizen and achieve the public good,” Al-Azhari said.
Al-Azhari voiced eagerness to further strengthen co-operation with the Ministry of Military Production and affiliated companies, considering their efficiency and precision in manufacturing products, as well as commitment to delivering entrusted projects on time.
He highly appreciated the key role played by the Ministry of Military Production as a pillar of military manufacturing in Egypt and one of the top industrial arms of the state.
Al-Azhari emphasised the benefits of utilizing the surplus production capacities of its companies to manufacture high-quality civilian products and participate in executing various national and developmental projects in the country.
