CAIRO – Egypt’s Local Development Minister Mahmoud Shaarawi and Antiquities Minister Khaled Anani held a meeting on Sunday to review the latest developments with regard to renovating the historic Esna city in Luxor.
The meeting tackled proposals for revamping Esna to be placed on the tourism map.
The city has several distinguished tourism potentials to be be an important destination for cultural tourism, especially through Nile voyages between Luxor and Aswan.
