Egypt’s Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah el Din Mostafa and Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Sherif el Sherbini held a meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Military Production in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) to review the latest developments in joint cooperation projects, particularly those carried out under the presidential initiative “Decent Life.”
Mostafa said that the meeting, attended by senior officials from both ministries, reflects the mutual commitment to continuously follow up on the progress of joint projects.
He highlighted that 691 projects are being implemented within the “Decent Life” initiative framework.
The meeting reviewed the executive status of water and wastewater facilities, which are now built by companies affiliated with the Ministry of Military Production for the Housing Ministry.
He asserted the ongoing coordination between the two ministries to accelerate the completion of these projects across various governorates, many of which are nearing readiness for handover to the relevant authorities for operation.
Mostafa stressed that the projects under the “Decent Life” initiative represent one of Egypt’s most significant national efforts, receiving close and direct attention from the political leadership and continuous oversight from Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.
He added that the initiative stands as a pioneering development model that promotes social justice and improves the quality of life for citizens.
For his part, Sherbini affirmed that the regular follow-up of projects implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Military Production helps resolve any implementation challenges promptly, ensuring that millions of citizens can swiftly benefit from the services provided.
Sherbini expressed his appreciation for the vital role played by the Ministry of Military Production as a strong national industrial arm in both the military and civilian sectors.
He stressed that cooperation with the ministry reflects the government’s commitment to leveraging local capabilities and resources to deliver high-priority development and service projects that directly benefit citizens.
