CAIRO – Minister of Public Business Sector Mahmoud Essmat discussed on Monday with Minister of Transport Kamel El Wazir joint co-operation in localising industrialisation of buses.
The meeting was held at the New Administrative Capital, was attended by the heads of the Holding Company for Land and Maritime Transport, Metallurgical Industries Holding Co. and El-NASR Automotive Manufacturing Company (NASR).
It came upon the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to support local industry of transport means especially buses and reduce imports .
Minister Wazir said his ministry seeks to implement an overall plan to support the local industrialisation of buses and increase local components
Minister Essmat said El-NASR Automotive Manufacturing Company (NASR) managed recently to conclude a number of deals to export its eco-friendly bus after experimental operations with the ministry of transport inside the New Administrative Capital.
