Egypt’s Minister of Awqaf Mohamed Mukhtar Gomaa has discussed with Governor of South Sinai Khaled Fouda aspects of co-operation between the two sides; e.g. preaching plans, convoys of imams and mosque construction in the governorate.
Gomaa said 15 tonnes of food commodities and 2 tons of meat were allocated for the most vulnerable families in South Sinai Governorate on the occasion of the celebration of the Prophet’s Birthday (Al Mawlid Al Nabawi) and the anniversary of the October War victory.
The minister congratulated the Governor of South Sinai on the approval of four mosques in the governorate.
For his part, the Governor of South Sinai invited the Minister to attend the opening of Al-Siddiq Mosque in Nuweiba, with the participation and co-operation between the Ministry of Endowments and the South Sinai Governorate, during the governorate’s celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the glorious October victories, and the laying of the foundation stone for the Islamic Complex in Nabq city.
The governor praised efforts of the ministry in building mosques across the country in general, and at South Sinai Governorate in particular.
