Minister inspects renovation work at Karnak, Luxor temples

LUXOR – Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Dr Khaled el Anany on Saturday embarked on an inspection tour of the site of the restoration project of Luxor’s Kabbash Road “Rams Road”, as well as Karnak and Luxor temples.
A grand inaugural ceremony is scheduled to be held in the coming period to celebrate the completion of renovations and promote the flow of tourists into Luxor Governorate.
During the tour, Anany checked on preparations for the ceremony.
An exhibition of very unique photos dating back to the 19th century will be established narrating the history of the temples and the most important archaeological discoveries in the area.
