CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha El Gendy said that Egypt’s expatriates are key partners in promoting the state’s achievements in all fields, noting that such unprecedented achievements are considered a “leap” towards securing a better future for coming generations.
The minister’s remarks were made during her meeting on Monday with Head of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad Ismail Ahmed Ali.
The two sides discussed means of linking the Egyptian communities abroad with the homeland in order to promote for tourism and investment in Egypt.
El Gendy appreciated the efforts of the Egyptian entities abroad in backing Egyptian communities and working towards achieving Egypt’s sustainable development goals.
The two sides reviewed a number of files of common interest especially the communication with the second and third generations of Egyptians, responding to rumors raised about the state as well as boosting co-operation over Egypt’s future steps.
