CAIRO – Military Spokesman Gharib Abdel Hafez greeted the Egyptian people on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of October war victory, saying that it has coincided with the celebration of Prophet Muhammed birth anniversary and the graduation of new batches of the military colleges.
Interviewed by “MBC Masr”, the spokesman said according to MENA it was a distinguished day for the Military Academy today when President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attended the graduation ceremony of new batches of the military colleges similar to his participation in the graduation of a new batch of the Police Academy.
He said President Sisi over the past two months has given directives of signing cooperation protocols between the military colleges and the Egyptian universities to hone the skills of the military students with the latest technologies and scientific research methods in order to help in the graduation of new fighters who are well equipped with knowledge and science.
He said the graduation ceremony was the fruit of a well prepared plan that has involved the latest civil and military techniques.
The spokesman also extended greetings to the families of the graduates and the new officers who will join the Armed Forces.
He asserted that October generation has reformulated the history of the Egyptian military thanks to the sacrifices of the honest heroes who have achieved victory with the full support from the Egyptian people in such tough times of the nation’s history.
