Egyptian Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi toured on Thursday the pavilion of China Electronic Technology Group Corporation (CETC) in Egypt Defense Expo (EDEX 2021).
During the tour, the minister was posted on the latest up-to-date technological techniques and advances incorporated by the company.
The tour came on the fourth and last day of the forum that kicked off here on Monday.
The minister hailed deeply rooted ties binding Egypt and China in the various spheres, highlighting president Abdel Fatah El Sisi’s recent visits to China.
Morsi further lauded the Chinese distinguished participation in EDEX 2021.
For his part, Spokesman for the Ministry of State for Military Production Mohamed Eid Bakr affirmed Egyptian-Chinese keenness on fostering startegic cooperation in the various domains.
The two sides agreed on further promoting cooperation, as well as exchanging visits among both countries’ officials, scientific and research expertise, with a view to serving Egyptian-Chinese interests.
CETC is a backbone state-owned enterprise in China. It was officially established in March 1st, 2002.
EDEX 2021 houses the pavilions of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, France, United States and South Korea among others. More than 300 companies belonging to 18 countries, including Egypt, are exhibiting their products at EDEX 2021, which is visited by 76 foreign military delegations.
