The Military Production Ministry has organised two educational seminars on means to prevent violence against women.
The seminars were attended by workers at companies and units affiliated with the Ministry, said spokesman Mohamed Eid Bakr Wednesday.
This move was in line with directives of Military Production Minister Mohamed Salahedin Moustafa to organise events that help enhance awareness of workers, Bakr noted.
The seminars focused on the different forms of violence and bullying against women, as well as gender-based discrimination, he said.
Ways of countering violence and bullying against women were also highlighted, the spokesman added.
