The technical institute of advanced industries of the Ministry of Military Production organised Saturday a seminar for students at the institute, in the presence of a galaxy of university professors.
Held under the rubric “National Identity And New Republic,” the seminar falls within the framework of implementing directives of State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Salaheddin Moustafa to promote the national sense of belonging for all employees in the military production sector under the slogan “Institutes Are Spreading Culture.”
The symposium is aiming to review all recent updates in education and curricula for the students, said director of the institute Walid Farouk Hafez.
The institute is always seeking to help students learn more about the importance of citizenship principle to preserve the identity of the Egyptian society amid threats posed by globalization, he added.
As the world is now a small village, it is necessary to focus more on raising awareness of coming generations on significant values, principles and skills that would enable them to deal with the contemporary world without affecting their personality, according to the director.
The gathering, which was held under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, aims to probe Egypt’s history, identity, Egypt 2030 strategy, sustainable development goals and the route to the new republic.
