Egypt’s Minister of State for Military Production, Eng. Mohamed Salah Eddin Moustafa, conducted yesterday an inspection tour of Abu Zaabal Company for Specialised Chemicals (Military Factory 18).
This visit is part of the ministry’s keenness to maintain close engagement with employees and ensure smooth production processes.
The minister checked on the commitment of workers to the safety and security standards as well as the work flow, including the daily plan of action and quality of the production process.
Minister Moustafa was briefed on recent performance rates, sales volumes, production and marketing plans, supply chain updates, and the latest developments in ongoing projects and modernisation efforts.
Moustafa stressed his ministry’s commitment to implementing all occupational health and safety requirements to ensure a secure work environment that protects both human and material resources within affiliated companies and units.
Abu Zaabal Company for Specialised Chemicals produces a wide range of military products, including propellants for ammunition and rocket motors. Additionally, it utilises surplus production capacities to manufacture civilian products, such as granular nitrocellulose for ink production, alcohol-wet nitrocellulose for paint manufacturing, and explosives used in construction and road-clearing projects.
