Egypt’s Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Saleddin Mostafa held talks on Sunday with Heba Nayel, CEO of Papyrus Egypt company, a developer of sustainable technology that converts banana plantation waste into fibre and biodegradable food packaging products.
The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the ministry at the New Administrative Capital, dealt with cooperation between the two sides in the field of converting banana plantation waste into eco-friendly products.
Papyrus Australia established two operational factories in Egypt, a Banana Fibre Production Plant in Sohag and a Banana Fibre Moulding Plant in Sharqiah.
For her part, Nayel expressed her company’s keenness on transferring the company technology to Egypt hailing cooperation with the Ministry of Military Production companies.
