State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Salaheddin Mostafa asserted Monday the necessity of implementing directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi about expanding the volume of public investments, deepening local manufacturing, transferring modern manufacturing technologies in different production sectors, reducing imports and scaling up cooperation with the private sector.
That came at a meeting with a number of officials in the ministry and the National Authority for Military Production and the board chairmen of companies and units of the Military Production Ministry’s HQ in the New Administrative Capital on Monday.
During the meeting, the minister reviewed the budget of the companies and units of the Military Production Ministry for Fiscal Year (2023-2024).
He underscored the vital role of the Military Production Ministry in boosting military manufacturing as a most important, industrial arm for the state.
The proposed budget seeks to increase the participation in implementing developmental and national projects on all fronts to promote efficiency of services offered to citizens through the state’s various sectors, added the minister.
