Egyptian Minister of Military Production Mohammed Salah El Din Moustafa embarked on Tuesday on a field tour of factory (Military Factory 200) for producing and repairing armored vehicles.
The minister witnessed piloting armored vehicles produced by the factory.
The minister was accompanied by a number of officials from the ministry.
The tour is part of a series of inspection tours by the minister to follow up workflow at the ministry’s affiliated bodies.
He also inspected a sample for establishing a field hospital as well as a number of research projects related to developing equipment to boost fighting capabilities.
The ministry spokesman Mohamed Eid Bakr said the Military Factory 200 is one of the biggest military industry factories in the Middle East and Africa and it is one of the main sources for producing various military products, including armored vehicles, bridges and other high-quality products.
