Egypt’s Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Saleh el Din Moustafa underlined on Thursday the important role of scientific research in developing production and manufacturing technologies to help upgrade the ministry’s traditional products and develop new ones.
The minister gave the remarks during his meeting with a number of board chairmen of companies affiliated with the ministry.
The minister said the meeting aims at examining new research projects and following up the projects carried out by the ministry-affiliated companies.
He directed putting into effect the political leadership’s directives to localize modern technology and increase the local component in products as the industry is the locomotive of development.
