Egypt’s Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah on Sunday asserted keenness of the Military Production Ministry on utilising the excess production capacity at its firms, along with its technological know-how and competent human cadres towards contributing to carrying out development and service projects nationwide.
He made the remarks during his meeting on Sunday with South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda at the headquarters of the Military Production Ministry in the New Administrative Capital to discuss prospects of co-operation.
During the meeting, the two sides tackled ways of boost co-operation, Minister Salah said, noting that work policy of his ministry is mainly focused on performing its fundamental role of providing the needs of the Armed Forces of ammunition, weapon, military equipment and electronic systems.
Meanwhile, Govenor Fouda said that South Sinai governorate seeks to implement strategies aimed at modernising the work system and serving people, hence it is looking forward to reinforcing co-operation with the Ministry of Military Production and its affiliate companies.
Co-operation with the Military Production Ministry aims to achieve integration with state’s bodies, maximise benefiting from potential and local resources, as well as boosting dependency on national manpower, said Fouda.
