CAIRO – Egypt’s minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah Eddin Mostafa held a meeting with the consortium responsible for developing the Giza Zoo and Orman Botanical Garden.
The meeting reviewed the initial development plan of the project with the timetables of the final design.
The minister said, according to MENA, the project is carried out under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to develop the Agriculture Ministry’s assets of gardens and parks to be open areas for citizens and tourist and recreational destinations.
Under Sisi’s directives, the development project aims to enhance the Giza Zoo’s historical value as one of the oldest zoos in the world.
