The Egyptian State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Salaheddin Moustafa inspected on Thursday Helwan Iron Foundry (Factory 9), accompanied by a number of officials.
This military factory is affiliated with the ministry and its military products include casting of hematite iron, grey iron, and steel. Civilian products are the same, in addition to precision casting.
Moustafa met with the company’s board chairman and was posted on the executive situation of ongoing projects, to be implemented by the company nationwide.
The company’s products are capable of meeting both military and civilian iron and steel needs as per state-of-the-art technologies.
The minister was also briefed on the company’s future plans and strategies to develop its performance.
Spokesman for the ministry Mohamed Eid Bakr said Helwan Iron Foundry always seeks to provide its products to meet needs of its clients with high quality and competitive prices.
