Egypt’s Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah El Din on Monday inspected Helwan Company for Engineering Industries (Factory 99), where he followed up on the implementation of pervious directives for the company.
The minister checked up on production lines and the company’s warehouses.
Salah El Din gave instructions for abiding by the set deadlines for finalizing the company’s projects while preserving the highest quality standards.
The minister underlined the necessity of localizing the latest manufacturing technologies within the company’s production lines in accordance with of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to deepen the local industry.
Helwan Company for Engineering Industries manufactures ammunition of all kinds, as well as a variety of civil products such as (fire extinguishers, gas cylinders and their regulators, Freon charging cylinders, tableware and kitchen utensils made of Stainless steel, the minister said.
The company also participates in carrying out several national projects aimed at achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs), he added.
