ABU DHABI – Egypt’s Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah El Din Moustafa hailed the UAE’s outstanding organisation of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2023).
Such organisation reflects the UAE’s distinguished status in the sphere of defence industries, added the minister Monday while visiting the UAE pavilion in the exhibition, which will run until February 24.
The exhibition is held under the patronage of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al Nahyan.
The State Ministry for Military Production is keen on participating in the UAE-hosted exhibition, as it is considered one of the most important events in the sphere of military industries, affirmed the minister.
The minister, meanwhile, underlined the depth of ties binding Egypt and the UAE in the various domains.
IDEX, the largest international defence exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa, is currently holding its 16th event, having been held biennially since 1993.
