Minister of State for Military Production, Mohamed Salah El-Din Mustafa, has asserted that the significant progress achieved in industrial development and the domestic production of modern technologies within the military production sector is a direct outcome of the unwavering support provided by the nation’s political leadership.

Speaking during an inspection visit to Shubra Engineering Industries Company (Military Factory 27) on Tuesday, Minister Mustafa emphasised that this sustained support empowers the ministry to effectively fulfill its crucial role as a cornerstone of military manufacturing and a vital industrial arm of the country. He was accompanied on the tour by senior ministry officials and representatives from the National Authority for Military Production, as they monitored the ongoing production operations at the facility.

During the inspection, the Minister toured various production lines, including newly established ammunition lines slated to commence operations next year. He also visited the company’s customer service center to assess its functionality. Furthermore, Minister Mustafa examined the company’s warehouses, reviewed the storage protocols in place, and underscored the importance of implementing robust governance measures, diligently controlling expenditures, and maximizing the utilization of any surplus production capacity.

While observing the active production lines, the Minister noted the workers’ strict adherence to occupational health and safety regulations and their consistent use of personal protective equipment, highlighting the ministry’s commitment to a safe working environment.

Concluding his visit, Minister Mustafa held a meeting with the company’s employees, where he encouraged them to further enhance productivity and actively contribute their innovative ideas. He affirmed his receptiveness to all suggestions aimed at optimizing the production process, stating that innovation is the driving force behind the future of industry. The Minister also commended the company’s notable achievements in recent months, acknowledging their dedication and contribution to the sector’s advancement.
