Egyptian State Minister of Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi discussed with Egyptian Ambassador to Sudan Hany Salah means to boost economic and investment ties between Egypt and Sudan.
Morsi reviewed the technological, manufacturing and technical potentials of the companies and units of the military production.
Morsi affirmed the basic role of the ministry to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of the ammunition, weapons and equipment.
The meeting aims at boosting economic and investment ties between Egypt and Sudan via opening new markets for the products of the companies of military production in Sudan in addition to supporting the local exports to attract investments to the Egyptian market in light of the investment opportunities available and economic reforms that took place recently in Egypt, Morsi said.
The ministry puts all its potentials and technical and technological expertise to co-operate with Sudan in all the military and civil fields, he said.
Meanwhile, Salah lauded the role of the ministry in benefiting from the surplus of productive energies, asserting his keenness on continuous coordination between the ministry and the embassy to support economic and trade ties.
