Egypt’s Military Production Minister Mohamed Salah Eddin and Chairman of the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) Walid Gamal Eddin have discussed co-operation between the two sides.
During a meeting at the New Administrative Capital, Salah Eddin praised the distinguished success witnessed by SCZONE in attracting more investments to strengthen the state’s national economy.
He also highlighted the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership in various fields, which brings mutual benefit to both sides.
He also stressed the readiness of the Ministry, through its subsidiaries, to provide all technical and human capabilities in order to implement projects that serve SCZONE.
For his part, the head of SCZONE praised the effort exerted by the Ministry in supporting the national economy, through effective participation in the development projects taking place nationwide.
He also said he established more partnerships and attracted more investments to the Ministry, as one of the most important industrial arms of the state.
It was agreed to form a working group from both sides to study issues of common interest to quickly activate them, ministry spokesman Mohamed Eid Bakr said.
