Egypt’s Minister of Military Production Mohamed Salah Eddin expressed his deep sorrow for the escalation of violence in Gaza Strip, which threatens international peace, Ministry Media Advisor Mohamed Bakr said.
In light of this, Bakr added, the minister on Monday cancelled hisministry’s its 69thanniversary celebrations in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Each year, the Military Production Ministry celebrates the anniversary of the launch of the country’s first-ever Egyptian-made military product. During this celebration, the Ministry honours the distinguished workers in military production companies.
Bakr noted that Salah Eddin asserted his Ministry’s keenness to implement the directives of President El Sisi to offer all forms of support for Palestinean people to relieve their suffering, considering Egypt as the biggest supporter for the Palestinian cause.
Since October 7, Israel has been hammering the Hamas-run Gaza Strip with a deadly barrage of airstrikes, killing 4,651 people and injuring 14,245, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza yesterday. The bombardment has killed more than 1,900 children and unraveled a catastrophic humanitarian crisis in the enclave.
