Egypt’s Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salaheddin Moustafa discussed with Bulgarian Ambassador to Egypt Deyan Angelov Katratchev and his accompanying delegation means of boosting bilateral co-operation in various production fields.
During their meeting, the minister underlined the key role played by his ministry in meeting the needs of the Armed Forces and the police in terms of ammunition, weapons and equipment.
They also discussed the possibility of enhancing bilateral cooperation in many civil fields, including designing models and molds for use in metal casting, steel alloys, supplying requirements for the manufacturing fire extinguishers, cutlery, rims and gas cylinders, as well as Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines.
The minister also asserted keenness on benefiting from the Bulgarian expertise in the different fields.
For his part, the Bulgarian minister said he is looking forward that this meeting would play an important role in opening new horizons for investment and cooperation between military production companies, and companies operating in similar fields in Bulgaria.
He also asserted the Bulgarian company’s keenness on participating in the third edition of Egypt Defense Expo (EDEX) that will take place in December.
