SHARM EL-SHEIKH – The WYF’s opening featured an impressive and a creative performance by speakers.
The forum has already become a global platform for youth. It is also becoming a formative experience for all those participating in it.
A key part of the opening ceremony of the forum yesterday was dedicated to three speakers from Africa who spoke about their journey with the WYF.
The Egyptian Gazette met those speakers to dig into their experiences in this regard.
Isaac Boamah from Ghana Boamah lives in Germany and came to Sharm el-Sheikh especially for the forum.
He said the forum has become everyone’s desire. “Everyone wants to be here,” Boamah said. “We have a golden opportunity to learn.”
He described the forum as a platform for the future, one that brings many solutions to the world’s problems light.
Boamah’s success journey with WYF began in 2018 when he worked in his country’s parliament. “I found creativity and intelligence here,” he said. “This gave me higher ambitions.”
Boamah pursues his masters in politics and democracy in Germany.
Sara Badr from Egypt Badr is the WYF’s spokesperson. She spoke in the opening session of the forum as well.
The forum, she said, has many positive impacts and it is important to highlight them.
“We are coming this year with the slogan ‘Back Together,” Badr said. “We use this slogan to prove that nothing will stop us,” Badr said.
Rehab Ayashi Ayashi is an engineer based in Germany. She said this is the second time she participates in the
WYF. “I had the chance to speak at the opening ceremony,” she said. “I am so glad to be able to go on stage to present and to talk about my experience and how I was inspired by the previous editions,” she added.
