CAIRO – The Ministry of Emigration Dialogue Center for Egyptians Studying Abroad (MEDCE) has launched a promotional campaign for the World Youth Forum (WYF) that will be held in Egypt on January 10-13.
The campaign was launched in 19 countries where Egyptian students who represent MEDCE are staying, a statement by the Ministry of Emigration said Wednesday.
It is part of a national strategy that involved video footage promoting for the WYF and offering information about how to register to attend the event. The videos were posted on the different social media networking sites.
The videos also highlighted experiments by a number of youth who had attended previous editions of the WYF.
Emigration Minister Nabila Makram said she is happy about goals achieved as part of MEDCE’s strategy.
MEDCE was established and launched by the Ministry of Emigration in January 2021 as part of a wider strategy to connect with students overseas.
It is an open platform, designed to maintain sustainable and effective communication with young Egyptians who are pursuing their study outside their homeland. The center aims to bolster the students’ connection with their home country and integrate them into the great national development process taking place all over Egypt.
