Egyptian Minister of International Co-operation Rania Al Mashat hailed on Monday long-standing relations with the World Bank Group to support Egypt 2023 vision on achieving sustainable development.
Mashat’s statements came during a meeting with Marina Wes, the regional director of the World Bank Group for Egypt, Yemen and Djibouti, Robert Bou Jaoude, the World Bank Operations Manager for Egypt and Mohamed Abdel Gawwad, head of the international multi-party institutions at the ministry to follow up the projects of incentivizing entrepreneurs to create more job opportunities.
The minister said the Egyptian government believes in the importance of the private sector’s role in promoting the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy.
The project aims at providing job opprotunties for youth and women through increasing the credit available for small and medium enterprises in cooperation with the private sector.
