Egypt’s International Co-operation Minister Rania el Mashat asserted the importance and depth of Egyptian-European strategic relations.
The Egyptian state is keen on developing such relations to meet development priorities and promote joint efforts in order to face economic challenges and enhance climate action in accordance with the state’s priorities, added Mashat.
She highlighted future co-operation axes in light of the state’s developmental priorities and finance tools, provided by EU and bilateral and regional co-operation programs.
Mashat’s remarks came at a meeting with
European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi on the sidelines of the convocation of the tenth meeting of the Association Council between Egypt and EU in Brussels Wednesday.
Várhelyi asserted the depth and strength of economic co-operation, which was reflected on funding several projects and programs.
