CAIRO – Egypt’s International Co-operation Minister Rania Al-Mashat said on Saturday the UN climate conference, COP27, will be the voice of the South, especially Africa and that it will also meet the needs of African states.
Mashat commended the technical support provided by the international institutions to countries in order to formulate national strategies to combat climate change.
She noted that holding the second Egypt – International Cooperation Forum (Egypt – ICF) aims to prepare for the Funding Day which will be held as a part of the events of the COP27 on November 9 to discuss several issues pertaining to green transition funding.
