CAIRO – The Manpower Ministry has tapped new markets in EU and Balkan countries, which, according to the director of the employment department, are now open to skilled Egyptian workers.
Many countries are seeking to employ Egyptian workers, especially those with experience in the field of construction, said Heba Ahmed in statements to MENA Wednesday. She cited Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the UAE.
The Manpower Ministry secures many opportunities for Egyptians wishing to work abroad in line with international standards and suitable wages and working environment, Ahmed said.
All this is done in co-operation with labour representative offices and the Foreign Ministry, she noted.
