CAIRO – The Labour representation office at the Egyptian Consulate in Milan held a series of meetings with a large number of Egyptian workers there to follow up their conditions and answer their enquiries.
Ministry of Manpower Spokesman Haitham Saad el-Dine said in a statement Monday the meetings came in line with directives of Minister of Manpower Mohamed Saafan to remain in constant contact with Egyptian expatriates, listen to their complaints and respond to them, to help them overcome any obstacles they might encounter.
For his part, Ministry of Manpower Labor Attaché in Milan Dr. Mahmoud Hamzawi pointed out in a report he raised to the minister the outcome of meetings with Egyptian businessmen operating in the various sectors to encourage them to benefit from investment opportunities and incentives floated by the Egyptian government in all governorates, as well as contribute to national ventures across the country.
He highlighted ongoing efforts meant to guide Egyptian workers to more than 100 available job opportunities.
Egypt Consul General in Milan Dr. Manal Abdel Dayem took part in the meetings.
