CAIRO/GENEVA – Egyptian Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan said on Monday that the meeting of the Arab group taking part in the 110th Session of the International Labour Conference aimed at exchanging visions on how to better serve interests of Arab labours and achieve comprehensive development in Arab societies.
During his chairmanship of the first coordination meeting of the Arab group, Saafan said that the standards committee emanating from the conference will meet on Monday to present a report compiled by the expert committee on the implementation of recommendations for the year 2022.
He added that the Arab Labour Organisation is closely following up the current economic and social conditions in Palestine and the other occupied Arab territories.
He stressed the need for fulfilling the development needs of the Palestinian people, pointing out that preparations are underway to hold the annual solidarity forum in favour of Palestine.
Saafan also thanked Director-General of the Arab Labor Organisation Fayez Al Mutairi for his continued efforts to enhance co-operation among Arab delegations.
