Egyptian Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan said financial dues of 430 Egyptians who were working in Jordan are being transferred to Egypt.
The financial dues are estimated at LE6.1 million, he said.
In a statement on Monday, Saafan said the labour office of the Egyptian embassy in Amman held meetings with officials of the Jordanian social solidarity association to ensure sending the money.
He called on the Egyptian workers to follow up their data on the ministry’s website and the embassy’s Facebook page to get their money from Banque du Caire once their name is listed.
