Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram hailed efforts exerted to provide decent life for citizens as per the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Makram’s remarks came during her visit to Qalyubia Governorate as part of activities of the second conference of Egyptian entities abroad Wednesday.
The conference was launched Sunday with 400 participants and 33 Egyptian entities abroad from 18 countries attending.
Makram is inspecting projects that are being carried out in the national project for developing villages of the Egyptian countryside within the presidential initiative “Decent Life”.
Qalyubia Governor Abdel Hamid el Haggan accompanied the minister during her tour.
The conference aims at listening to proposals of representatives of Egyptian entities abroad and mulling ways of putting them into effect.
It also aims at maintaining direct contact between the state and all Egyptian entities abroad.
The second edition of the conference runs in tandem with the major accomplishments being made in the country in different domains.
The first edition of the conference took place in July 2019 with the aim of engaging Egyptian expatriates in implementing Egypt Sustainable Development Vision 2030.
This edition is meant to promote the political leadership’s vision as regards the New Republic and support “Decent Life” initiative” for developing the countryside.
The initiative aims to improve the standards of living, infrastructure, and services within Egypt’s underdeveloped governorates.
