Madbouli: We seek to build more tourist projects in New Alamein city

Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has said that New Alamein is witnessing many mega projects to attract more tourist ventures and expedite the development of the coastal city which lies in northwestern Egypt.

During a meeting Wednesday to outline “El Alamein Riviera” project construction plan in the western part of New Alamein, Madbouli said the area enjoys a distinguished geographic location making it an important destination on the Mediterranean Sea as he expected the project to create many job and investment opportunities.

Minister of Housing Assem El Gazzar, who attended the meeting, said an agreement was reached with the project operators to expound the activities of the project and announce its final costs.

Hisham Sheta, board chairman of “Income” company said the project, which includes 10,250 hotel rooms and 3,975 hotel apartments, would provide 30,000 job opportunities.

 

“El Alamein Riviera” will be built on an area of 10 million square meters and will house some hotels, a “Marina Town”, and a center for education, creativity and innovation, a recreational area for families, beach and golf clubs, a commercial center, restaurants, a medical city and a wellness center as well as some international schools and a conference center.
