Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has said the State is interested in developing pre-university education and providing all tools necessary for its development.
His statements came during a meeting with Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif Monday to follow up on educational process, at the start of the new academic year.
Minister Abdel Latif told the Prime Minister that the new academic year plans succeeded in adding 100,000 new classes to the educational process, to decrease in the number of students in classes, which now accommodate less than 50 students each, except in 47 schools whose density will be addressed.
The ministry’s plans also succeeded in narrowing the gap in the teachers shortage, said Abdel Latif.
