CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli stressed that the State’s determination to nip in the bud the phenomenon of encroachments on agricultural lands.
During a Cabinet meeting Thursday to review a draft bill to introduce amendments to some articles of Agricultural Law No.53 of 1966, with a view to eliminating aggressions on agricultural lands to preserve natural wealth for future generations.
The Cabinet also approved a draft law on a loan to upgrade Egyptian railways, a draft law on financing special entity units and endorsed financial settlements drafted by an experts committee formed by the Cabinet.
The meeting also took up financial reports of the General Organization for Social Insurance for the first quarter of fiscal year 2021/2022.
The Cabinet also approved a draft law allocating 40.1 state-owned feddans in Luxor Governorate to be used for urban ventures.
