During a cabinet meeting, the prime minister said Sisi’s talks with Sall focused on bilateral relations as well as economic and technical co-operation, trade exchange and investments.

Madbouli said the talks also reaffirmed the importance of achieving the highest benefit from the launch of the Egyptian-Senegalese businessmen council pointing out that the Senegalese president hailed the activities of Egyptian companies working in his country especially in the fields of construction, tourism and infrastructure.

For his part, Minister of Finance Mohamed Maeet hailed the positive indicators achieved by Egypt’s economy which were praised by international economic institutions including Moody’s that spoke highly of the performance of the Egyptian economy.
