CAIRO – There are presidential directives to immediately release goods from Egyptian ports with giving priority to foodstuffs and medicines, said Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Monday.
The decision to release the goods from ports came in light of the dollar resources increase from Ras El Hekma deal with the United Arab Emirates and other deals, said the prime minister during a meeting to follow up the movement of goods at ports in the presence of Minister of Finance Mohamed Maeet and senior officials at the Central Bank of Egypt.
The prime minister added that the state would continue its reform measures to support the industry sector and increase exports.
