Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted the importance of boosting the role of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) as a logistic, international and pivotal center for the world trade movement.
Madbouli also asserted the importance of creating an integrated community that depends on the sectors of industry, maritime transport and logistic services to support the economic development wheel in Egypt.
This came on Tuesday during Madbouli’s meeting with Head of the SCZone Yahia Zaki to follow up the situation of projects implemented and the infrastructure in the area.
Zaki reviewed the prominent renovations at the SCZone especially at al Ain al Sokhba to turn it into the largest axial port in the Red Sea to serve the international trade movement.
