Egypt’s Minister of Solidarity Nevine el Kabbaj followed up on the bad weather conditions that battered the northwestern Egyptian Governorate of Marsa Matouh Wednesday leading to flash floods in multiple areas.
In a statement issued Thursday, the minister of social solidarity directed authorities in the governorate to be fully prepared and offer all services to citizens to help them face up to floods and rains that hit many areas.
All measures are part of continued coordination with Matrouh Governor Khaled Shuaib in this regard, the statement said.
Urgent cash support was offered to help the distressed, it added.
