The Students’ Conference on Communication and Information (SCCI) at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence (formerly Faculty of Computers and Information) at the Cairo University, has recently kicked off its activities for 2021.
The SCCI offers a platform that seeks to qualify the students for joining the labour market after graduation. Participants attend free-of-charge training courses and workshops covering various subjects throughout the year.
Launched in 2006, the conference was once sponsored by late Prof. Amr Kamel, and now by faculty undersecretary Prof. Mohamed Saleh.
The student activity is interested in helping students explore, and enhance, their capabilities and self-confidence, gaining considerable expertise needed for the market.
The SCCI team includes 132 students, divided into 12 groups, all sharing the same goal, namely assisting junior students to get acquainted with the actual conditions on the labour market.
The conference activities have been so far extended to 18 universities.
The SCCI courses and workshops cover marketing, accounting, stock exchange, and other fields. Excellent students in higher grades, lecture junior ones.
The main core value of their work throughout the year is to achieve their vision through recruiting fresh minded students to join their five free courses, AppSplash, Devology, Markative, Techsolve, and Soft Skills.
